It's hard to believe Madi is actually at the MTC. It was really hard to say goodbye to her. She woke up feeling a little nervous. She said, "This is the biggest thing I have ever done." We went to breakfast at Village Inn. On the drive down to the MTC Madi felt a little nervous, but just like she was promised in the blessing her Stake President gave her as he set her apart as a missionary, she felt calm as soon as she entered the MTC doors. We waited in a huge room with many other new missionaries and their families. We watched the video Called To Serve. It was excellent. Then it was time to say goodbye. We were the last ones out of the room. We were all crying like babies. Madi walked away from us down the hallway and just before she turned the corner she turned and waved to us and flashed Kade the I Love You Sign. Then she waved some more before she disappeared around the corner. Ouch! She will be in the MTC till June 01 when she flies to Osorno, Chile. We already miss Madi, but we are so excited for her. She is going to be an excellent missionary. The Chileans will love her and she will love them too!

Thanks for sharing these photos of the family at the MTC. We are excited for Hna Burningham to arrive in Chile. She will love it here. Tell her to work hard in the MTC and to be sure and bring wet weather shoes and coat. She will be arriving in the winter and it rains here a lot. And I mean a lot.
Don´t worry though. We will love her like she was our own daughter. We have the best missionaries on the planet and the best sisters anywhere.
Un abrazo.
